Get in the habit of holding fire as soon as you launch your previous orb. Hold down the fire button ( or by default on PS3) and a beam will appear showing your target. The other two are personal preference, but rune fire and purple flame got me out of tight spots several times each. The extra time spent by using tranquility will easily offset the time spent replaying levels without it. You will probably need Tar (slow down everything) and Tranquility (make levels easier but longer). I found that Tar, Tranquility, Rune Fire and Flame Purple made it easiest for me. Think about which enhancements are best for you.Some of the time, the order of the orbs on the screen and in your launcher make it more or less impossible, especially the levels with the switchback paths or multiple drain holes. Don't get frustrated you will have to re-do lots of levels.The speed at which they run through the track is also increased. The Nightmare difficulty is quite tough – the orbs rarely spawn in pairs, so very few matches can be made without firing two orbs from your launcher.

Unfortunately, the three difficulty trophies don’t stack, so you will have to do 3 full playthroughs. The trophy will pop after the credits roll and you return to the menu. It is quite linear, and you will collect several keys along the way. The quest is the ‘story’ mode of this game and, since the game material says ‘over 90 levels’, consists of 91 levels, called days in the game. If it wasn’t, load up a survival level with the launcher in the centre of the screen and let potential matches pile up before starting a chain. The only trophy that could be left is Rapid Powerups, but it is highly likely that this was obtained earlier. Step 4: Complete survival mode for Survival Star Step 3: Complete challenge mode for Challenge Master This will get you Hard Quest Completed and Nightmare Over Step 2: Complete the quest in Hard and Nightmare difficulty. By the time you are done with the first quest, you should have unlocked:
Step 1: Play through the quest – it will start automatically when you launch the game. Once you do have them, they carry over through the rest of the game. Wait until after your first quest is done to start them though, as you will not have all of the enchantments available to you. Steps 2-4 can be done in any order, and the survival and challenge modes can be a work in progress behind the quest mode.

The PS4 and Vita versions utilise the touchpad, but other than that, there are no differences that I am aware of.
SPARKLE 2 PS4 PS3
This guide was done using the PS3 version. The game is published on PS3, PS4 and Vita, as well as a variety of other mobile platforms. The game starts off gentle, but gets fiendishly difficult by the end. The premise is that you must fill the border with runes before the orbs make their way to the sink hole. Sparkle 2 is a match 3 game of the style normally seen on phones and tablets, but makes an appearance on consoles here.
